I'm with you on this one, but I always thought it was one word. Do we have a word here for the links between buildings that are above street level? I know they're part of the pedway system, but do we have a specific word for them?

kittycorner or catercorner. Kittycorner sounds more natural to me.

I've never heard a term applied to one, but you never know.

That reminds me of just how weird the whole pedway system is.
