Come March of 2016 I will be moving to Chicago. I grew up in Jersey and currently live in Key Largo but am looking for a change of scene with more opportunity, so I thought why not Chicago. I am a 25 year old female and have 2 dogs. I am looking for any pointers anyone might have on places to live, nightlife, work etc. I am super excited for this new chapter in my life so anything you have to say good or bad will help!

Ideally I would like to stay under 900 since it is only me. As for job type I am open. I have a bs degree in business management and experience under office management along with bartending and serving.

I would find a job first before you decide to move to Chicago. It can be very hard to get a job with the way the economy is in Chicago and Illinois.

I don't fully agree - It completely depends on what industry you're in. Some industries are not that hard to get a job - others might be more.

If you have no skills or education, then this is probably true, otherwise there are plenty of good paying jobs, will just depend on what industry.

So you're just going to give up all your friends and potential boyfriends and relocate?
