About a year ago, I did a google earth search. google hasn't updated the street view pictures since. Does anyone know what is going to be built at the intersection.?

Thanks for the video, but does anyone remember what stood at this location before?

This logic doesn't make sense. If there's nothing built right now, Google has nothing to "update."

It's probably been vacant land for a long enough time. You could probably ask the alderman's office of what used to be there, say, the early 1900s or so.

Also diagonally across at 63rd and Halsted is Kennedy-King College, but you probably can't ask them, since they are relatively new to that location.

As a teenager I frequented that corner a lot in the 90 ' s but I can't quite remember what was there last.

Watched the video and apparently there were protesters protesting the store being built saying residents can't afford Whole Foods. They do know they won't be forced to shop there, right? There's an Aldi down the street.

You can go back in time on google maps, which first drove by the intersection in 2007. It looked the same in 2007, a big vacant plot of land.
