Default Chicago to Aurora?

I'm a masters level social worker who is considering moving to Chicago in the next 6 months or so. In order to practice in the capacity in which I am interested (school social work), however, I need to complete a post-masters program. I have found such a program at Aurora U. and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the transportation options (if any) between the two cities. I know that I don't want to live in Aurora (nothing against it but I just love Chicago) but this program has made the most sense for me in a variety of other ways. I'll have class about 2 nights a week so it won't be a trip I have to make every night (this makes a some inconvience and expense a bit easier to handle). Any info you guys could share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your transportation options are as follows:

1) Drive.

2) Drive.

3) Drive.

There is a Metra station in Aurora and a Pace bus line that connects it to the university (Route 524) but the bus stops running at about 6pm, limiting its utility for someone taking night classes.
