Seriously? You think drug-dealing, weapon-toting gangs are a good thing?

Perhaps our dear little poster is part of the problem ...

Anyone who thinks gang improve a neighborhood is either:

1. are probably in a gang themselves, or wishes they were and gets laughed at by actual gang memebers
2. one of those stupid hipsters who screamed 'gentrif*****' at me when I got off the 'el' once while wearing a suit.
3. missing a few marbles upstairs

Normal people do not sit around and defend gun touting thugs who shoot each other in the back over street corners (which is exactly what happened on my street, I'm not talking in theoretics, I saw the group of kids involved less than 15 minutes before the murder took place, heard the police sirens, and saw the aftermath) anymore than normal people sit around defending child molesters or suicide bombers.

Define "yuppie". Or do you just mean college educated and white?

I dont get why is it so hard to understand that...

Would you like if the city tore down your neigborhood for room for a Stadium or housing projects?

I'm very sorry you feel this means the other end of the spectrum is somehow in the right, because they're not. They too have taken over neighborhoods and kicked out families who have been there for years.

You're right. I'm all for robbing and killing those people for wanting to move into your neighborhood. Sounds like a fair plan.
