OMG finally somebody with some knowledge on this board... that's what I've been trying to say on just about every single post of mine... I just get bashed by people though who think this city is "perfect" and are in complete denial of any problems that go on here.

I certainly never have said the city is perfect. I point out the flaws and warts all of the time. But if you are sick of the city and want to leave then do so. Stop being a drama queen and grow a pair.

I'm not being a drama queen, I'm just pointing out problems that seem to be overlooked and ignored by a lot of people. Most of these people on these boards however, and I'm not necessarily saying just you, refuse to accept it, and just bash me with no rebuttle whatsoever. If they want to ignore the problems and let this city implode in on itself then that's on them I guess, if they don't care there's no point in me caring, one person can't do a whole lot, that's why I'm leaving in Decemeber/January. It's nothing for people to get all jumpy about.

Blacks are a much bigger drain on Chicago than hispanics. Many mexicans don't even qualify for Section 8 or other govt programs. Puerto Ricans seem to a pretty good job working the system but nothing like poor blacks.

I don't like paying for healthcare and food stamps for the children of illegal mexicans but detest even more paying for black families in which no one works or works a minimal job and maxes out their public aid. I would much rather pay for the working poor than the non-working poor.

Someone please publish the numbers but blacks as a whole receive more in taxes than they pay into the system (as does anyone who makes less than 15K per year on average).

It is disturbing when an entire group as a whole is a drain on the system.

it's the truth though, the entire group he is talking about is a certain faction of a specific population but not the entire populace of that kind (that would be the income level and the amount of taxes they pay into the system compared to the amount of money they receive from people like me who work hard every day and don't stay home and be worthless to society doing criminal activities and what not).

if more people could afford to raise their kids (instead of me doing it for them), and if more people worked hard every single day (like i do), our country wouldn't have 80% of the problems that it has today. The sad and despicable thing is that there are a LOT of people in this country who choose to loaf around and leach off of the government. a lot of people are fed up with paying so many taxes for people who don't work as hard as they do on a daily and yearly basis.

if you don't mind, you should go back and check out my post again after i edited it. it's not every black person, that's stupid and silly as I (like many of you) work with more qualified and better educated blacks than myself, which is saying a lot considering my background and IQ. there's always people more smart, better working, and more educated than you.

it comes down to choice. people have a choice to work hard and better themselves. it's the people that don't do that and choose to let others feed and cloth themselves and their children, that are despicable and make Obama's future plans seem cloudy at best (i don't like mccain either).

I understand what your saying and I agree, but if you read some of this guy posts one would think he's prejudice. I've been to Humboldt Park on more than one occaution and I've seen Hispanics and Blacks hanging around on the corners- so moving one group out and another group in isn't the answer- you're just making it someone else problem
