Loftie (Chicago: to rent, lofts, neighborhood)

So I may be interested in getting a raw loft style place when i move back to the city... even a converted storefront something with good squarefootage and big... i have a buddy off of north near western (2600 block) thats in a 3000 + loft, its huge, i'd love to find a place like that... question is whats the best way to find a place like that... i've searched craigslist and thats somewhat futile, any suggestions?

I've been looking for a loft myself. I've had my best luck with ~allchicagolofts.com~ If your looking to buy it has an extensive list of Chicago area lofts. If your looking to rent Craigslist has still been the best avenue.

I've found lots of lofts that I'm interested in, my problem is that I don't move till May. But there usually seems to be about 20 "new" lofts posted everyday. Type in "Loft" and then the neighborhood your looking in to narrow your results Ex. "Loft Uptown"
