It was destroyed in 1938. That particular neighborhood was a vibrant one especially during the
Columbian Expo through the 1930's - see link below

Apparently, season one of the tv show though is loosely based on the castle of death.

....several years and it begins. It should be a very interesting film with Scorsese and DiCaprio as a team -
plus capturing that incredible exposition (visually). They might even use Chicago for some shots of

Yeah I read that too. It's back on and I believe with hopes of it being released in 2017.

Currently reading Devil in the White City - almost done. Awesome book - I like how it's set up as a novel but it's all non-fiction. I'm a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio and I think he could make this into a great movie, whenever it gets done.
