There's over 120 of them from LKst (Lawrence and Kedzie), which started in the '70s.

Now, my understanding is most of the LAst from Lawrence and Ashland are Black.

For kings, 2ndary color is gold.
For GDs, 2ndary color is blue.

Yes and no.

Little Village has 1,000 Latin Kings, divided into 22 sets back in 2008, averaged 45 per set.

But Lawrence and Kedzie represents the entire Albany Park neighborhood, so 120 is not nearly a lot per neighborhood as compared to a thousand in Little Village.

Do you see these gangs moving to the near west suburbs as the families from Little Village move in that direction? South Lawndale lost nearly 12,000 residents (or 13% of its population) between 2000-10. I'd imagine that trend continued into the 2010s.

To many Mexicans the american dream is owning a home.
Bellwood, Stone Park, Cicero, Maywood, Hillside, etc. all offer affordable homes.
I know a lot of people who moved to the burbs to get away.
