As did I. I still am on the other side of perfect.

The north side of Diversey and north of it is the Lake View "community" (as well as neighborhood.)

^ South of Belmont is the Hamlin Park neighborhood (even though it is not on the city map-which is one of my problems with the city map.) North of Belmont is "Roscoe Village" which was always called Lake View or River View before the speculators came in. ^

In the actual neighborhood you are pretty much correct about bungalows. If there is more than two I would be shocked. But in the whole Lincoln Park "community area" it is not quite the same story.

Germans,Irish, and "Hillbillies." Later on Hispanics and Blacks came in.

Then the artists and musicians. After a couple years the yuppies snatched it all away.
