So we all know of the beaches up and down LSD and the adler.

but I just recently discovered Palmisano park which reminded me of twin peaks in San Fran.
Obviously not as high, but finally a natural elevated park amongst urbanity with a great skyline view.

Just wondering if there is any other place like that. Where you can chill and have a scenic vie of the skyline.
Not parking garages or buildings you have to go in.
Remember, Lincoln Park doesn't count.

Not sure about chilling here but I love going to the Metra/CTA stations in Oak Park just to see the skyline from there. I go to Oak Park for various reasons sometimes so I will usually stop by and walk up to the platform just to enjoy the view for a bit even if I am not riding the train

I would recommend Milton Lee Olive Park right by Navy Pier, you won't see a whole city from there but the view is awesome

Kinzie Street bridge is fairly well-known (it's been used in several movies and TV shows, even). It's probably my favorite city view.

I also like the view when you're coming in on the Ike and just east of Austin crest a small hill and see the skyline in the distance.

The problem is, there just aren't very many hillls of any stature in the city so viewing points are restricted by our flat topography.

Views as you drive south down Elston can be quite nice. And the same for driving north on Ogden.

You get a nice view on the Pink line between Polk and Ashland. Also, the observation room on the top of UIC's University Hall.
