I work about 1/3rd of the year in France and Austria so I tend to see the dysfunctional side of Europe. My romanticized view eroded long ago. They have too much bureaucracy and encourage people to be lazy. Great if it works but I doubt it is self-sustaining.

correcto, hence why I'm on the site
I've seen the slums in Europe as well, Southern Italy... Slovakia.. some definite rough areas.
really hard to tell what is self sustaining, on one hand our stronger capitalism has gone awry, so has their stronger socialism. Any system you are gonna have a bunch of greedy people mess it up for the rest.

Wow. Onslaught is a big word for a Maywood kid. They'd beat you up at Proviso East for saying that.

You got it. Cleese was always my fave. I broke out my Fawlty Towers dvds on this nasty day and they still hold up after almost 20 years.

Is anyone here a Yuppie brave enough to come out of the closet?
I know that there are some guys on here that are still "in the "closet"! You "Drove" into a hot topic that is like "Fire". And some might want to "Avenge" you for doing so.
