Cicero because the southwest side is underserved.

How about something connecting the Blue Line to the Red Line, along Addison? There are buses, but perhaps something else can be arranged..

Western for sure. First it's much needed and as many other's have said it's connects the train lines in some good spots. Aside from that Western once you get north of Logan Blvd, is very commercialized but not pedestrian friendly. I think it would definitely help make it much more walkable and only bring more to those neighborhoods.

To me Western is such a jarring street. I really wish improvements were made to it. It's such an eye sore from an urban perspective. Always felt it looked and felt more like it belonged in LA or Houston than in Chicago.

This would be amazing actually. I always thought Belmont should have that, but I think Irving Park deserves it more. It would hopefully alleviate the horrendous traffic that Irving Park gets.

I honestly don't know how effective an L line down Western would be, but that's what the people want. I'd personally rather see something down Ashland, but that's just me.

Split the difference with Damen? It still has a lot of connections (with a Green Line station coming) and would serve the United Center, UIC, and Medical District really well.

Cicero. There should be a more direct O'Hare to Midway route though a bus could probably suffice for that.

It's a shame so many lines have been demolished.
I mean, the blue line used to go to westchester back in the day, humboldt park had a train line along North ave to lawndale with the intention of reaching harlem.

I originally said Cicero ave, but maybe Cicero would serve better as an expressway. Considering it's less densr than western.

Damen could also work. I think Ashland is better suited for it (wider ROW, less residential, etc.), but I'd accept Damen as the thoroughfare should this hypothetical play out.
