For racial diversity, I’d add Burley, Ogden, and Ray to that list.

Ray is a good school - my son is in 4th grade and my daughter (now at Jones College Prep) - attended through 8th grade.

Canter middle school was closed and replaced by a selective enrollment junior high (confusingly, called Kenwood, even though it has no affiliation with Kenwood Academy next door). Also, Ray is now K through 8 (it was probably K through 6 when you lived here previously). My son will most likely attend Kenwood for Junior High.

My niece and nephew who also were accepted at Jones went to Burley. It's far less diverse than Ray, but they had a great experience there.

Did anybody mention Pritzker? I think it's also on the short list of the better elementary schools.

Lincoln Park would make sense because Lincoln Park High school is also a "local" school. Lane Tech is a good school an you don't need to be off the charts test-wise to be accepted, so choosing a neighborhood convenient to Lane is also a though.
