Default Another winter storm on its way???

Ok, so as I sit here my weatherbug is chirping away, and never mind Tom Skilling's last night hype about tonight's supposed winter storm, but does anyone else think this winter is this getting old or what? I mean snow on the first day of spring, and if all holds true, some areas on the north side can be looking at up to 8 inches? South-siders once again will be spared with little to no snow, but still. BRING ON SPRING ALREADY! Heck I would settle for 50 and cloudy, just as long as I could keep my car clean for more than 5 days at a time.

And to rub salt in the wounds, I checked out Bloomington/Normal's forcast for tommorrow and it is supposed to make it up into the upper 50's with some rain. What a difference 100 miles makes.

Bring it on. We're tough here... I would rather have the snow than the flooding they are getting down around Marion, and other parts of southern IL.

But - yeah, we are getting tired of the snow removal. And commuting in it just stinks.

This has been a terrible winter. I really hope this is the last snow of the season. Of course it's possible that this is all sensationalist TV news hype and that we'll only get an inch or two...

March is always the hardest month in the upper Midwest. You'll get some really beautiful sunny warm-ish days, and then a cold snap or snow storm will bring you back to winter blues.

Yea, this is pretty typical March. Hell, April can still get slightly nasty, although by that point you can usually see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Bah! This native Alabamian is indifferent to the prospect of more snow. As long as the sun is out past 7 PM, I'm content.

Yep, 1-2" tonight, maybe more tomorrow. Its typical for mid-March. But hey, looks like 60 degree temps next week. Were way below average temps too this month, Skilling said about 15 (!!!) degrees below normal.

Sounds like we've got ourselves an ol' fashioned weather war. As much as I'd like to vote against Skilling for the way he seems to get physically aroused when talking about the jet stream, I cannot. Don't let me down, Skilling.
