The 49B straight down western will let you off at the brown line as well. The only downside to the 49B is it is not an overnight route and neither is the brownline.
The last runs of the 49B route are just after midnight, and the first runs are around 4:30am. The Brown Line ends service at just after 1am and it begins again between 4:30 and 5am weekdays and between 5am and 6am on weekends. So, yeah, not 24 hour service, but plenty long for most uses. The Red Line and Blue Line are the only 24-hour lines, but even with them trains can run as infrequently as every 30 minutes in the super-early morning hours.

You don't have to tell me about that! Many of nights I waited for the Blue line, up to 35 minutes between.

Theres indians everywhere in chicago. They practically own every convenience store and gas station. You will not have much trouble . South suburbs have a high population as well as west. Theres a VERY HIGH population of arabs in burbank and chicago ridge.

I'm so confused - what is 2 BHKs? And is your budget in dollars? 15 - 16,000?

we'd normally say 2 Bed, 2 Bath or 2 BR, 2BA if we're talking about those rooms. I assume you're planning to rent, I think we'd all really recommend that so you can get to know the area.

It's a very common nomenclature used in India to describe Flats / Apartments.

A 2BHK would be 2Bedrooms with a Hall (Living / Family Room) and a Kitchen

As far as the budget goes, I am also confused. My assumption is that $1500 - $1600.

What does the Arab population have to do with Indians?

LOL, basically nothing. The only suburb I can think of that has a large affluent Arab population AND a growing and pretty affluent Indian population is south suburban Orland Park.
