I'll be going through Chicago next month for a wedding. I want to stay at a boutique hotel in the loop for a night for around $150 per night, it also need to accommodate four people. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm not sure where the wedding is but the loop can fairly dull on weekends and weeknights. If you're staying a few days to check out the city you might be better off finding a hotel in River North. As for boutique hotel recommendations in the loop, I love the Palmer House although it's still a hilton property. It's an iconic hotel though and has the old world charm you're likely looking for.

$150 isn't absolutely required. I don't mind going up to $400 a night, but the hotel does't necessarily have to be in Downtown, as long as I can take the el to it pretty easily.

Shouldn't be hard to find a great place downtown for around $200 this time of year. We had some visitors in from out of town this past week. They paid $220 for the Four Seasons.

You will probably need at least two rooms. I've stayed at the Embassy suites.
Embassy Suites By Hilton Chicago Downtown - Guest Reservations

Many other places too.

March is a little busier in Chicago than February, but you should still be able to find good deals, good locations for under $200. And just about any booking site will have them.

If you can get into the Thompson for your price point, I highly recommend it. While not downtown, it's in the Gold Coast, just north of the Mag Mile area. Great hotel.
