Crime is the least of our concerns. Many American cities have more crime than we do. Accelerating population decline and governmental dysfunction are more at the crux of our problems.

I've read these stories before. They're all written a thousand miles away by people who have never set foot in the city, who don't understand the reality on the ground, and don't care. The youth mobs they're talking about are nothing new and there are many better articles online that explain the situation better. The headline could easily have been "Despite hot spots of crime, millions of people enjoy Memorial Day weekend in Chicago with no problems whatsoever.

Chicago crime rate isn't even in the top 10. And then people totally ignore the suburbs and neighborhoods where all th white people live that are very safe.
