Default Any Great Greek Food And Thin Crust Pizza?

Aloha to all! I will be attending a two-day conference in late June at a hotel in River North...about two blocks north of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I'm interested in finding some great places to enjoy Greek food and thin crust pizza. I would prefer these restaurants be close by the conference, but I'm willing to go anywhere if necessary. Thanks in advance.

For thin crust, go here. It isn't close, but it is good.

Welcome to Spacca Napoli Pizzeria

or for a closer option (a short taxi ride)

Coalfire Pizza

For some authentic Greek Food check out Greektown. It's right across the Dan Ryan from downtown in the South Loop area. I've been to Greece and my meal at The Parthenon there was authentic. Below is a link to their restaurant.

The Parthenon Restaurant (http://www.theparthenon.com/restaurant-main.htm - broken link)

While I do love Chicago's deep dish pizza, it's your thin crust pizza I can't live without. There's just something about the crust. IMHO, it's the best...far better than New York's thin crust.

I had good exp. with the Parthenon over the years, but last Autumn I had a really bad one. It may take me awhile to return and the Greek Islands-dont get me started on that one!

My favorite place is a drive up the Edens (which is under constuction :-( but if you go after 7 pm or so you should be fine.)

Take the Brown Line out to Albany Park and eat at Marie's Liquor and Pizza. Excellent cracker crust pizza. Get your BYOB from next door. You can grab a cab from there to Jefferson Park Blue Line to get to O'Hare.

Pizza: go with Leona's. There are many great thin crust places but at least once at every place I have gone too over the years I have had subpar pizza except Leona's.This location is closest to downtown.
