OP - ghetto is totally subjective. Your teacher needs to define his/her terms. Is it low-income, low education, crime ridden? Percentage of children living in poverty, eligible for rschool lunches, unemployed? Or are you talking about the physical ghetto, buildings w/o amenities, low performing schools, percentage of home ownership?
You may need to define your own terms if your teacher will not. Chicago is a very tricky city to work with. High income areas can be two blocks from areas of dire poverty.
