I wonder if this guy got his CDL from George Ryan,he was an illegal alien, or on drugs?It could be all. We shall find out soon enough. Unreal. Unless the driver was having a medical problem he should have been able to turn his truck into a direction other than straight into a train stop to minimize the injuries and damage. This should get interesting.

A crap truck could be the cause, but still he could have steered the truck away from the train station. I am pretty sure he will be cited. That is the last place you want to hit.

He was arrested a few mintutes ago apparently after getting out of the hospital and looked to be pretty much unharmed. This man had to be on drugs and/or drunk. The only other option is that he had a health condition like a heart problem or epilpesy.

Why do people do these stupid thing?

I know some of these accidents are done deliberately like the ******* who ran into channel 7 window last winter.

And the bag who drove into someones living room on Cas in Darion last year.

People are just plane ignorant and don't pay attention to their stupidity like this guy who drove his truck off the highway into a train station.

How the hell can you do that withought thinking?

He probably wasn't on drugs or had any kind of condition. I bet he was simply coming off the ramp way too fast and lost control. I see these trucks all the time on I-55 driving as if they are in a 2-seater Porsche. That's what happened with that one guy who was coming off the ramp too fast and his truck over-turned and caught on fire. Speaking of fire, thank God the truck that hit the station wasn't carrying any fuel.
