Hey everyone...wow a lot of great input from everyone....I agree with what a lot of people say about Chicago, the winter isn't that big of a deal when I lived there I never really thought about it....but as I got into "perfect" weather everyday its sorta becomes addiction. Chicago is a fun city no doubt though, great place to hang, workout, make money!
****Here is my current update right now*****
I left my San Diego apartment on Friday and started driving East, thinking of checking out a few places knowing I could go to chicago or just back to San Diego. I really started missing the sunshine though because it is cloudy out now big time and about to rain. Anyhow I have been driving and the coolest places I have seen are Durango CO and Telluride was good as well....but a little to remote. Though Durango was sweet everyone was out kayaking, climbing and biking all over the place.
Currently I'm in Boulder CO and checking out possibly staying here for the summer "cheap rent" Compared to the Socal or Chicago. I don't know maybe I will drive on to chicago. Just thought I would update everyone!

i wish you luck. the west (colorado & surrounding areas are awesome) but i highly recommend, if you're coming back to chi-town, do it this summer. as you probably know, that's the best time (or the fall, my personal favorite time of year). however, after our move to Fl, we learned the weather doesnt mean as much as we thought it would. its all about the "city feel", our friends, etc...and we'll be back soon!!

Beleive me, winter this year lasted from November to....3 weeks ago. Way to long to enjoy those jogging tracks, beaches, parks etc. There are four months out of twelve that you can really enjoy all .If you are like me ,that really enjoy time outdoos come and visit your friends at this time of the year ,in the mean time have them go over to wherever you are during the winter and you will also do them a favor.

Winter lasted until 3 weeks ago? What?
November was fairly mild last year-at least the first half of it.
April through October is great in Chicago.
Four months? Huh?

March and November have their moments as well, though they are probably the most schizophrenic in terms of quick weather changes. This past March was unusually lousy, but that's not always the case.

If you think winter ended three weeks ago, then you are a liar. Three weeks ago it was 88 degrees.
