Also, you must realize that no matter what type of communial living you are a part of, you will always have small issues that can be easily over looked, if they aren't easy perhaps you should invest in a home with mommy and daddy instead.

People have various levels of tolerance and many people including myself, let things slide by for quite some time before expressing it.


Seems like you are pretty pissed about the whole low income, bad city, non-diversified corrupt city/police/education system and what not!

For those wondering what kind of people they are. The girl is what we like to call 'ghetto', and she often has new guys over. Surprisingly I have seen the same 'husband' for a few weeks now.

The reason I havent encountered about this, is becuse we have had previous run-ins with her as well. We and her share the same basement and a few times my mom moved around her clothes on the laundry rope for which she got VERY angry, once my mom picked her kids' clothes from the floor for which she got angry etc etc, and parks in half of our spot.


I could hear her kids running around at weird times, which is ok-ish since they are kids, sometimes they blast music all day long, and when at night when they are not having sex#1, they are watching TV in loud volume. You think they would have realized that their bed bangs against the wall, by now?

why is this topic still going on?? at this point, it's degraded to an argument about race and sleeping arrangements!

OP, you basically have 4 choices:

1)approach your neighbor like an adult and voice your concerns (in an adult way preferably) about the noise

2) complain to the people they are renting from. are they renting the unit from the other owners?? someone has to own that unit and that someone is their LL. deal w/ the LL if you can't deal w/ them

3) deal w/ it. wear ear plugs or headphones

4) move.

also, I know how easy it is for people to complain about their neighbors lifestyle, but how many guests she has over bears no relevance to the noise issue, unless they're having loud parties late at night. if you can't deal w/ living w/ "ghetto" people (and let's go on and on about what "ghetto" means), then consider option #4

ETA: for future reference, when buying condos, make sure there's either some type of condo assoc. or set in stone rules regarding rentals, rules, common areas, noise levels, etc
