Fans of 80's RnB, please help a brotha out!
Greetings to all my fans of 80's RnB. I have been out of the loop as far as going out is concerned. I want to start going out more. My problem is I want to go to club/bars that play 80's RnB. I know I won't find that on the Northside and it's been years since I've been on the Southside.
If anyone can tell me where I can find a club/bar that play's 80's RnB please let me know. I just want to go and hear RnB during a time when RnB was actually good music not like the crap they we here now. Typically this is going to be an more mature African Amrican crowd. I don't want to go where a bunch of Hip Hoppers and young 23y/o yuppies are going to hang out, not my crowd.
Any advice would be helpful.

There used to be a couple near Clybourn (on Clybourn) and Fullerton as recent as a couple of years ago. I dont know if they still play that type of music or have the many AA's going there still. But when I went into them in the past they did.

You might want to go grab a time out magazine or log onto metromix.
