Based on one of your postings several days ago, I am unsure as to whether you are looking for some sort of student housing, a hostel, or an actual apartment you would share with another student.
If you are looking for more of a hostel environment, you may wish to check out Arlington House, International Hostel It's in a great neighborhood, Lincoln Park, just a few blocks south of the Lakeview neighborhood. Last edited by dsimicata; 05-11-2008 at 06:42 PM. Reason: change |

You are not going to find any student housing in Lakeview, since there are no colleges/universities in that exact neighborhood (I live there).
Your best bet would be to look online at craigslist.org/chicago/ for Apartment to "sub-lease" for the summer. You might be able to get a furnished apartment to sublease. I noticed your location is spain, and I wanted to let you know that the cost for living in Lakeview is around 700 to 1000 dollars for a studio and 900-1300 dollars for a decent One Bedroom. You can spend more, of course, but you won't be able to get much for less. It is a very young, hip, diverse neighborhood, and you don't need a car (I don't have one), but there not a lot of "short-term" apartment/housing options other then sub-leasing an apartment from someone. Good Luck! |
