My friends from Europe are alway laughing at us for making such a big deal about sex (esp. among the educated middle class). Of course, European villages can be strange and very traditional places where a father might chase you through the Alps with a pitchfork, but Berlin, now that is a fun town!

he is talking about someone who might be a tranny, as in "dude looks like a lady"...which would be your case if you were going to a night at Berlin on Belmont or walking up and down Halsted (and I'm not being a hater, I go out on Halsted between Belmont and Addison all the time, and I have seen more then my fair share of Crossdressers/Trannys).

Anyways, by the tone of your message, I think you are looking for "hookup/dance" nightclubs in Clark/Division, and if you are not too discriminating, your best bets in that neighborhood are Bar Chicago, Shenanigan's, those bars on Division. (Again, I am NOT recommending these bars, but if you are looking for a hook-up that is the place to go).

If you like to hook-up with more of the sorority/fraternity set, head up to Wrigleyville between Roscoe and Waveland on Clark Street...if you like suburban girls, head to Barleycorn's, but any of those bars (Merkle's, Red Ivy) has dance music and, with the age and mindset, prone to one night stands.
