Walter Payton is smiling ... first TD the Bears scores is dedicated to him, for the one he didn't score for the 85 team.

Cant forget about Marshall, Wilson, McMahon, Fencik, McMichael, Dent, Gault, Butler, Perry, Singletary, etc... they all deserve a TD in their name.

Walter, more than anyone ... he lived, and sadly, died ... a Bear.

Yes, Manning should worry you very much.

7+ year resident of Indy (from MI originally) but I will soon be moving to Chicago (wife is already there) so I am very excited about this match-up.

I must say that I, like a lot of people outside of Chicago, thought the Bears would lose to NO...so big props for that win.

I've got to think that Indy posts a double digit win here for sure though. I just hope it's a good game either way.

SCREW THE PATSIES AND BELLIDICK!!!

Sadly I have to agree. I want nothing more than to see a ring on Urlacher's hand, but against Indy I dont think that will happen. BUT, ya never know!!! Maybe Ogunleye will smash Manning's throwing arm into oblivion.

Who really thought NO would beat CHI? I had 100% confidence they would smash NO, and they did a fine job of that. Our defense finally played like their old selves, Gross-man still sucked (like we were expecting him NOT too? ), but our D forced 3 NO fumbles. Yeah baby!

I didn't think anyone thought Chicago would beat NO (outside of Chicago or Illinois). Hey, Steve-o, I replied to a recent thread (with questions) in the IL board. Thanks.

Smile As I watched the game, I just knew that the Bears would find a way to win.

I have been a die-hard Bears fan for nearly 29 years. As much as I loved the '85 team, I feel that the '06 team deserves just as much recognition.I often times feel that the '06 team doesn't command the respect of the media because they are constantly being compared to the '85 Bears. I am very proud of this team. They may not have the flash, pizzazz or consistency of the '85 Bears, nonetheless, those young men played with a lot of heart and soul yesterday. A lesser team might have folded once the momentum of the game started shifting in their opponents favor.

Kudos to Coach Smith, his coaching staff and his players. It was a very touching moment when Virginia McCaskey received the Halas trophy named after her late father. Two weeks seems so long. I can't want for Feb. 4th to get here.

As the saying goes..."On any given Sunday...any team can beat any team". Probably what makes the NFL so widely popular.

All I can say to the Chicago and Indy fans- HAVE FUN over the next two weeks. It's going to be awesome wearing the jerseys, hats, listening to the sports shows. The rest of us just have to sit back and watch .
