That's what I've been shouting. If Chicago gets knocked out of the 9 game playoffs they've got left (hopefully after we sweep Green Bay), I do hope the Packers run the tables and crush the Pat's. Then, until september, we can all linger on the fact that the Bears still asserted dominance over Green Bay.

I wish I could forget that loss to da' Bears... The Pack just handed that game over.

The Pack is a strange team this year... Both good enough to beat anyone and bad enough to lose to anyone at the same time.

Don't fret, Bear fans. The Bears are just a few key players away from having a good team, while the Pack's hopes are solidly placed on an old player who is about to retire. The current situation is probably temporary, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Haha. I wish I can tell that to my college roommates who are Packers fans. You tell them that and they just shrug it off and say the Packers have a better record this season - THIS season, not next. I hope.

And last year too. Lovie is undefeated against the Pack at Soldier Field AND Lameblow Field.

Wrong, Steve-o! How could you forget New Years Eve of last year when the Pack completely dismantled the Bears on national television?!? Bear fans keep saying that Lovie was resting players, but this was not the case. The Bears came out to play that night, but they were overwhelmed. It was the first sign of trouble to come for the Bears. They got into the Superbowl through the luck of the draw in a weak NFC. It won't happen again.

Anyway, this thread could go on forever... We should let it die. Go Cubs! Go Bulls!

I hate the Pats, but I would never go with the Pack over them. The Pack is to the Bears like the Cards to the Cubs. No way. I always hope the Pack loses. I could never go with the Cards even against the White Sox and I would never go for the Pack against anyone.

That is the real Chicago way!

Default Da Bears

can someone in Chicago tell me whats going on with my beloved Bears? They are breaking my heart!! Cedric Benson, except for one game is a bust! He held out for so much money like he was all that, my gramma can get more yards than him!! I understand they had to trade Thomas Jones cause they paid him(Benson)all that money. I thought the BIGGEST mistake was getting rid of Cris Harris!!!!! te safetys are not that great. I knew Mike Brown would get hurt again and Archaleta (however spelled) just sucks!! Also... i think ill send Vasher a dress. he is soft!! He had a phantom injury and has been out 10 weeks!! Harris,Urlacher,Tillman,A Brown all are playing through pain! When I think of the BEARS record and the players it has...I get sick!! Again, getting rid of Cris Harris was mistake, Need to rebuild offense line and get rid of Miller(the off sides king), get running back jones from Cowboys and CUT Benson, Get Bradley more involved with wide receiver and GET A QB PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yanno -- i've got a new thought philosophy on the Bears for this year.... I always expect a loss, that way, if they do happen to "win ugly" [like last year], it's a nice surprise.

most of the time, i just sit and shake my head... almost in disbelief.

I know I didn't help answer your question .... but it's been decades of frustration, with the exception of about 3 yrs.

The Bears weren't that good last year either... They squeaked by in an weak NFC and got some lucky wins. The only thing that surprises me about this season is the fact that the almighty defense of last year was largely a mirage. I knew the offense was just terrible, but the defense looked like they could absorb a few injuries and free agency. I guess I was wrong about that. Here's to a 6 and 10 season!
