Your best bet for funk/soul will be Dusty Groove America and George's Music Room (no webpage -- 3915 W. Roosevelt Rd., Tel: 773-762-8910). You might also check out Beverly Records and Vintage Vinyl; maybe give them a call and see if they have what you're looking for.
