Not really that scared dude, but I'm not looking to get shot over something stupid either... which is what would happen in certain parts of California. I know the Chicago mentality isn't quite as fawked in the head as Cali though, thank god!
You really think you're going to get assaulted or, better yet, shot in fricking Lakeview because you have a Sox hat on?

I know they don't take kindly to Dodgers hats in Anaheim, but I didn't realize it was that bad.

No dude, I'm only being half-serious here... I know that doesn't always translate well on the internet... don't take me so seriously

I do remember an incident several years ago where a Cardinals fan was stabbed in Chicago, no sh_t! I think he was provoking people though...

Seriously, how much trouble am I asking for if I wear a Sox hat on the northside? I'm not talking about going into the Cubby Bear and picking fights or anything, just wearing it around town...

Just curious...
A few years ago a couple of Northside Cubs fans stopped over in a Bridgeport bar after a Sox game, and were seriously assaulted. The Northside Cubs fans are loyal, but safe. Bridgeport has always been the trashiest, lowest class neighborhood in Chicago.

Not at all. It certainly is not the best but it has never been the worst.

You clearly don't know anything about Chicago.

Are kidding me? Bridgeport is a lot of things, but that is not one of them.

So trashy and low class that I only wish I could afford to buy a $400K house there. What do you mean this isn't Englewood?
