14. I tried Pompei recently for the first time and I must say it was pretty decent. Meatball sandwich is good too.

what did you expect, Chicago is a very urban city, of course Chicago will get an D and an F on parking and traffic. I'm pretty sure Los Angeles, New York City, and Sanfrancisco will get an d or f in that catergory. You will expect bad traffic and parking in any large city with high density.

Ten more grades:
27. Ann Sather: A+++++ Yum. good. 28. Murphy's: B-. Was not blown away. Had better dogs at Wrigley. 29. Coobah's: A+ when not busy (Sangria is amazing food is great). B- when busy. No flex staffing. 30. Wrigley: B+. Nice place, if only for the history. Food was surprisingly fair price. 31. US Cellular Field: A-. Great stadium. I was really surprised about this. Great sound system, good concessions, fair prices. 32. Sopraffina: B+. Very good food at a little higher prices, but typically worth it. 33. Agave (on Lincoln): A+. Service was almost too good. Food was great. Drinks were better. 34. The Green at Grant: Hidden Gem of my stay so far. Great drinks, fun golf, great place overall. 35. Taste of Chicago: C. I expected much bigger and better. when describing it to friends back home I told them it was like our local tastefest, without the cool art fair to go with it. 36. July 3 Fireworks: A-. Good show, people are all so well behaved. So many great places to watch them. congestion is not nearly as bad as advertised. Outside of the fact I still know nobody in the city, best move ever. |

I have a feeling this will stir up a few hysterical posts. But most people are generally well-behaved. It's the 1 percenters. Except those 1 percenters have guns, and they scare me.

Compared to Detroit where you fear for your safety all the time during the fireworks (unless you are in a private viewing area) and people are clearly segregated in areas by racial lines, it was a great sight.
