Im starting to like trump tower more and more.

I love sears tower of course, two prudential would be a second after sears. but its just a given.

and personally, I think via chicago has the best favorite, after two prudential and sears of course. lake point is sexy, I never looked at it like that, and that picture of it is amazing.
doesnt lake point have a twin buiilding but like a mile away? I know it does, but whats the deal with that?

So beautiful... Next time you're there, take a look at the corner detail. It's refined modernism at it's best, even if it clearly took cues from Mies. The clarity of the glass is really wonderful as well, since most similar buildings are tinted or bronzed (though this picture makes the glass look too reflective). The stainless steel curtain wall has aged well, and still shines and sparkles. Inland Steel still looks sleek and modern today, even though it's more than fifty years old...

I'm actually kind of shocked that so many people like the schlocky post-modern buildings of the 1980s and early 1990s. You couldn't find a style of building more hated by architects today.
