Spire... if I could stomach the obnoxious heights.

Spire -- nicer building all around, no association with "The Donald"...

I would rather live in the Spire because it seems to offer more for residents than the Trump, plus the views are probably better.

I like Trump's location and views better, but the Spire is a better building. I'd want to be on a high floor of the Spire to see over nearby buildings, however!

Some of the lower floors in the Spire that face the city are going to have some icky views. The way the SunTimes building was sited , and especially judging from the lower floors of the IBM building, there were just fantastic views from about 6-7 floors all the way up to the top looking down the river out to the lake. That Park District Water Cannon thing is quite a nice diversion too. I'll bet that Kelleher ends up landscaping the heck out of anything near the building. It would be a MASSIVE sales boost to have the 2016 Games too -- the world wide exposure would be unprecedented. |

i agree that The Chicago Spire looks more distinguished from the outside,
i would prefer views of the Chicago Skyline from inside the Trump Tower. I would especially love to get a condo with a view over the Wrigley Building. |
