How much do you spend on Cable/Internet?
I had a friend tell me he pays 160 a month for Cable/Internet, I didn't believe him. How much do you pay for yours? Do most apartments in the city come wired for high speed internet or do you have to pay out the A** to comcast for your package?

I pay about 130 with taxes and fees included for RCN(phone/cable/high speed net.) If you are a new customer you can get a much better deal than I.

RCN - New Customer Deal
I pay $65 a month for basic+expanded cable and 5MB Cable Internet. It is a 12 month, new subscriber deal.

I think mine's going to go up 20 bucks next month to about $100 from RCN.
but I don't have a ton of channels or anything.

i have no desire for a land line. and i never talk on the phone so i have rollover minutes on my cell that will last me a lifetime. |

I am happy. Our Comcast (cable and internet, no phone) is $120 right now, but the nice man on the phone tells me he'll put us in as new customers so we get it for $80 for 12 months... That's $40 a month.
Wonder what I'll do with all that cash... oh that's right... buy beer.
