you heard about that store owner that got killed either on cicero and north or in humboldt park a few days ago...everyone in the neighborhood knew him, he was a white guy his dad was a cop and he got the store from him and he told some drug dealers early that day to hit the road and they told him they will kill him and he was dead later that night; so if they want to pop you they wont care if it brings extra police presence, which it will bring for a few but then it will level off. You remember what happened to that off duty cop Soto; they knew he was an off duty detective and they still killed him.

On the news, the police said that Chicago have over 100 street gangs, with 70,000 to 100,000 members.
pure speculation. the cops will just scare you. it's a scare tactic. once there's fear, these cops gets to have a job to keep. no crime/criminals no police jobs. think about it.
We have Disciples on the south side. We used to have Latin Eagles, Aztecs, Royals and Popes on the north / northwest side. Don't see too much of them anymore. Roscoe Village had a terrible gang problem around 20 years ago and I was told that the police tried to keep the gangs below Belmont. I lived in Roscoe Village for 1 year and left because of gang problems. Rogers Park and Edgewater have numerous gangs affiliated along ethnic lines, mostly anti-Semitic. Humboldt Park used to have a gang called the Insane Unknowns. They used to torch bldgs.

That dude is a Satan Disciple from Pilsen; i saw him on the Gangland episode of the SD's; that dude seems crazy... he was talking about how he gangbangs for a living and he will destroy all those who oppose him
