There are many tudor homes in Evanston. Evanston is the southern most North Shore community along the lakefront. The most are in southeast Evanston and were designed by George Maher, he is mostly prairie school.

I do know they exist more (including Tudor influenced or inspired) so in the communities of Norwood Park,Edison Park,Sauganash,Forest Glen, and North Park.

Also there are some in West Ridge,Mont Clare,Belmont Cragin, and the Northern Part of Austin.

There are a bunch in the North Shore burbs of Evanston, Wilmette,Glencoe,etc...

As far as the south side, I know there are some there too, but the southside is not my area of extensive expertise.

I do believe there are some in Beverly,Mount Greenwood, and Morgan Park.

Basically they will be found in the outer areas of Chicago and burbs adjacent to those areas.

Here is a description of some of historic Beverly homes including nine or ten very interesting tudors. They are all over the area:

You will find tudors in all of the established neigbhorhoods in and around Chicago. On the south side you will find them in Kenwood, Jackson Park Higlands in South Shore, the Beverly Area, and even in Chatham where you will find tudor inspired bungalows. In the South Burbs there are loads of them in the Homewood, Flossmoor, and Olympia Fields, especially the latter two.

On the west side you will find them primarily in the Oak Park, River Forest, Riverside communities.. including some in Western Springs, Hinsdale, Elmhurst, and even farther out in Glen Ellyn.

And on the north side, they are in every community on the North Shore and some sprinkled through out others as well.

Chicago has around 300 suburbs and I would bet that most of them with the exception of the outer exurbs will have some type of example of a Tudor.
