I found a studio apartment for $1,000/month with all utilities included, and cable TV. Is this a good deal?

I dont think its a bad price. Of course it depends on the condition of the place. But if you can afford it and like the area go for it. Parking sucks around there though.

Not a bad price at all for that gold coast location at all. Plus you are literally next to oak street beach. great location!

Thanks for the advice guys. Now I have to decide between this unit, and another unit at 2400 N. Lakeview (Clark & Fullerton).

Both are studios with all utilities included, the Lake Shore Drive unit is $1000 and the 2400 N. Lakeview unit is $975. Both take the same amount of time to get to my office. Which would you pick?

Both are in great choices. I would imagine that the crowd around Clark n Fullerton is younger than Division and LSD. But again, I dont have actual stats to back it up, so dont quote me on that. And Lincoln park has a lot of bars and places that cater to a young single professional crowd, while gold coast has more of a grownup feel to it, or its more adult-ish If you want quicker access to N Michigan, you might want to go with the one on Division because you can walk to it in a few mins.

What are the actual units like? Which one speaks to you better?
