Default buses

Absolutely, the buses. The walk is very very long. You may already have found Chicago Transit Authority | 1-888-YOURCTA and then click at bottom right corner on "RTA Trip Planner" as I find it more effective than the google option on the site.

If you are getting off a UP Northwest Line train, it may be better to de-train at Irving Park and catch an Irving Park #80 (or even better, an X80 Irving Park Express, depending on the time of day if it's running). The end of this bus line is Broadway at 3900 North, about a mile from Broadway and Belmont - a walkable distance. From Clybourn, it's almost certainly a two-bus trip.

It would help to know where you are coming from to Belmont and Broadway.

she could also wait 50 years and take the Armitage bus to the brown line then go up to Belmont and walk to Broadway..
