Default Second City Comedy Show

I'd like to take some friends to go see a Second City performance this summer. Has anyone seen either skit this year? Which one is better "No Country for Old White Men" or "Campaign Supernova"? Thanks for your input.

Default I've seen both in my Chicago visits..

....and you truly can't go wrong with either one. The Mainstage (No Country for Old White Men) gets more notoriety, but the ETC stage (Campaign Supernova) is still quite funny; last year, I actually thought that the ETC stage show was funnier, and some have thought that this stage might be e little bolder and risk-taking in its approach..

I actually always prefer the ETC stage than the mainstage, but I haven't seen this one.

That's what I heard as well from the ticket broker. We went to go watch The Pratfall of Civilization since the mainstage show was sold out. It turned out to be a great show.

It depends. The casts are changing all the time, and the casts write and perform the shows, so it truly depends on who is involved.

I haven't seen either show this go 'round, but I thought the last ETC show wasn't quite up to snuff.

I know folks who've seen both. I'll ask around.

For a while a few years back I was preferring the ETC stage, but the "Barack and Hard Place" show tilted my favor back to the main stage. I haven't seen the new shows.
