Default Sports Activities

I will be moving to Chicago this Sunday for work. I was wondering if there are any formal/informal intramural sporting leagues? I previously lived in Los Angeles where I played intramural kickball, soccer, flagfootball, etc and now live in New York where I play in a Lawn Bowling league in Central Park. Does such a thing exist in Chicago? I know a decent amount of people already in the city because of school, however think these opportunities are great networking chances as well as an outlet for someone who is competitive like myself. Thanks.

You can find a league for just about any obscure sport you can think of in Chicago. Some are in the burbs, however.
