A few friends and I want to get together in Chicago next year, but we are looking for a specific type of lodging. We want to have a kitchen, like an efficiency suite, but would like it to have either 2 or 3 separate bedrooms. Is there anywhere like this?

Thanks for any help in advance!

You should look into a vacation rental. It will be an apartment or condo that you rent by the night. They can be expensive, but sometimes you can find that sweet spot with the price and number of people and it will be cheaper than a hotel. Just do a google search for 'vacation rental chicago'.

These "might" work for you. They are bed and breakfast inns but offer the type of space your require.

I believe the University Center downtown offers summer rentals that would fit your needs. it functions as a dorm for students from 3 colleges, but they are apartment style dorms w/ a kitchen and bathroom. not sure what your budget is but it's right downtown and you would have use of the fitness center and other amenities

This is what we ended up deciding on... I have used vacation rentals before and I have always really liked them, but that was for places like florida.... Thanks for reminding me!
