Recommendable AutoBody Shops? (I'm fairly new to the city) (Chicago: price, best)

Hi everyone,

So I just moved to Chicago about a month ago, in the Uptown area. I park on the street and just yesterday I noticed that someone had left me two dents on my hood. Needless to say, I was pissed. I haven't seen any auto body shops around, so I'm wondering if anybody here has any recommendations for reputable and reasonably priced shops? I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

Thanks for the recommendation, but that is a bit too far from me. Does anyone have any other recommendations? I'm in the uptown area but I'm cool driving to a place anywhere in the city... thanks!

Carstar on Diversey is very reasonably priced.

I'd highly recommend Road Runner on the corner of Ravenswood and Leland. Jerry has done a lot of work for me in the past, and I got his recommendation from VFC-Engineering, one of the best VW/Audi/Porsche mechanics in the city.

I've also had very good results with the Carstar around 5400 W. Montrose.

Road Runner is much more convenient for you and I've recommended both places to friends/family in the past.
