I'm hoping you guys can help. I'm looking to move my family from NYC ,where I work in television marketing, to Chicago. I love Chicago and have family there and think it would be a great place to raise my kids. The problem I'm having is that, although the no. 3 market in the country, there are no media/marketing positions readily available in the windy city. I'm an executive level (director) marketing person whose entire marketing career has been in media(tv, radio and print). Any advice on what companies that I could research and see where my talents fit? Any suggestions would help, I've been looking for a while and haven't had any luck transitioning my skill set to any available positions in chicago. Any one with the "inside scoop" on media jobs in chicago would be my personalhero! Thanks for your time.

From what I've seen it's much easier to get into corporate PR positions here... there's more of those than you can count.
