There's a good Lebanese restaurant called "Kan Zaman" on Wells & Ontario (Great lebni)..... There's another place behind the GAP on ohio, but I don't recall the name. Enjoy the city!

When you say "Arabic" do you mean Saudi or just general Arabic (language) stores?

Devon Ave. is the center of the Pakistani community in Chicago, and has many Lebanese businesses as well. A lot of this business strips extends north and south of Devon along Kedzie as well. There are many Halal restaurants and markets with menus in Arabic, as well as a wide variety of clothing stores.

The suburb of Bridgeview is your best option. That's where the largest Arab community is in the Chicago area. Inside the city limits, your best bet is a very small enclave on Kedzie Avenue between Lawrence and Sunnyside Avenues. There is a CTA Brown Line trains stop right in the middle of the strip.

Visit the "Check Please" website for Arab restaurant write ups. We have lot of good Arab food here as well as a vibrant Arab club scene. Check out the website of a band called Bandoleros too. They play 2 times a week and are mostly comprised of Arabs. Their music is similar to the Gypsy Kings.

Wrong. Haha. You can't tell the difference between southeast asians(indians, pakistanis) and arabs????!

For arab stores, go to kedzie and lawrence, montrose and pulaski, that whole area. Also go to Harlem and 81st all the up to Harlem and 100th and even farther up. and LaGrange and 141st and all the way up to 191st etc... Chicago has the largest Palestinian population in America.
