Hey Avenger. What kind of rent am I looking at for a single studio or 1 br in East Lakieview? Particularly the stretch of Broadway between Belmont and Clark?

i got kind of burned when i moved here...i worked with a friend who is in one of those "apartment finder places" (although it wasn't apartment finders, lol), and i flew in from where i was living, 600 miles away, looked at apartments all day, signed a lease, and then flew out and quit my job in the other city the next day.

no, its definitely NOT worth what i pay. i cant wait to move out of here when my lease is up in March. there are a lot better apartments in east lakeview for several hundred less.

you can find some decent stuff at that price point...you'll definitely get a nice 1 bedroom, maybe a 2 bedroom. When I was looking in East Lakeview, i worked with www.ChicagoApartmentSearch.com - they were able to help me find a good apartment in East Lakeview in Chicago

My kids have also used www.apartmentpeople.com. Our daughter and son-in-law first lived at 518 West Addison, cool, courtyard building with a vintage feel, close to the lake and Wrigley, but the parking situation was less than ideal.
