the thing that fascinates me about Chicago sized bedrooms is that the furniture stores here still sell bedroom furniture sets that have NO earthly way of fitting inside the bedroom! do people really buy these sets and stick the armoire in the kitchen or something?
I've seen bedrooms in Pilsen that could barely fit a full sized bed, rooms that would be considered dens or offices in apartments in New England (esp. since a lot of them don't have closets). I was lucky to find an apartment in Pilsen that not only had bedrooms larger than 100sqft, but also had their own closets inside the room!
