Mr Downtown is on a distinguished road
You don't say where you work in Oak Brook but there are express buses from the Forest Park Blue Line terminal. Just because there's no train doesn't mean you can't take transit.

I work on Jorie Blvd, right close to the mall. Do you know the bus number or route? Thanks so much for your input!

Actually, I've been on the Damen Ave bus southbound from Webster to the Illinois Medical Center stop, and the most that's taken is 25 minutes.Once you're past North Ave, Damen traffic seems to flow well. Ukie Village is a great neighborhood, BTW. Lots of cool restaurants & bars, also some great Eastern European restaurants, and delis. (Kasia's, YUM!)

I just went thru University Village yesterday. It reminds me of Schaumburg. If you want "suburban living" why not just move to suburbia?
