Honestly, have you checked out Beverly/Mt. Greenwood/Morgan Park? It's not IN all the action, but is a 15 minute train ride to the loop. Yard for the kids and dog, and plenty of parks if you don't like your yard.

well, u left out the lab part in ur op. is there a husband also that you would like to add later?

Beverly looks nice. Is it safe? When I mentioned to my husband it was on the Southside, he didn't seem too interested.
