Again, if the OP and the other questioner had given us a neighborhood or an intersection to start with, then I would have used Chicago crime data (formerly chicagocrime.org) | EveryBlock Chicago to make suggestions. That resource shows that there were only two murders in Avalon Park in the last two years. The Community Area has 11,000 people and is 97% African-American, is mostly professional, with a median income of $50,188.
