No, food is not taxed at all. Some non-food items are not taxed either, like TP and plastic wrap when you buy them at the grocery store. I am stocking up on my trips back to MI, trust me!!!

There is a Target on Addison,on Peterson,on Harlem (just outside the city),on Howard (just outside the city), on Roosevelt,on Elston,...

There is a Costco on Clybourn,on Touhy(just outside city limits)...

These are just of the top of my head.

Why not check their websites?

Because looking at the addresses doesn't tell me where it is. I don't know the area. Actually what you're telling me doesn't tell me where it is either lol

Ummm when they give you the address on the website they tell you what city or town the store is in. Type in 60618 and do a search for stores near 60618. All Chicago Zip Codes start 606...

All the stores I mentioned are in the city unless I did this: (just outside...)

There are enough Targets and Costcos in the city and burbs to have you covered no matter what part of the city or burbs you move to.

There is also a Costco on Damen, just south of the intersection w/Diversey. There are also Targets on Elston, just south of Logan Blvd., and also on Addison, just East of Elston. A lot of people think the Addison one is the best Target in the city.

But yeah - check the websites - there are Targets all over the city. There are maps on both their websites as well.

Except if you live in Delaware!! Home of tax-free shopping. If it is $9.99, it is $9.99. On thing I must say I will miss about this state when I relocate out there.
